Nick West is a British artist from Brighton. He studied Fine Art at the Kent Institute of Art & Design, specialising in Graphic Fine Art, a discipline that stemmed from printmaking and photography to include artists’ books, installation and video art. Nick currently lives and works in Tokyo.

How does your work respond to the show’s theme?
For this exhibition, my starting point was a detail which I enlarged to become an abstract artwork.
